Re: MBB question for those more informed than myself
Maybe Haluska needs this in his locker:

I was just letting everyone know that he does have fundamentals but it's not helping him any. That was my point. I was saying that fundamentals are important but so are athletes. Haluska has all the fundamentals and it's doing him no good right now. Rahshon, Wes, Craig, etc, don't have all the fundamentals, but they have everything else and it seems to be working for them pretty well. Haluska is a great practice shooter, but if he's not gonna make it in the game, there is no reason to have him out there. They should be playing Booz more instead of Haluska.

Ah, I see...I understand you now... Although Rahshon and Wes seem to have fundamentals/discipline I'd love to see Diante and Brakins get over time.
IMO, it would have been great if we would have redshirted Boozer.

IMO, it would have been great if we would have redshirted Boozer. I don't think we are deep enough in the guards to be able to redshirt Booz. With Mike T and Brister leaving and Lucca getting screwed, we're left with only Wes, Haluska, Booz, Brock and Cam at the 2 position. IMO, Booz is a better all around player than Haluska or Brock. Cam is good on defense but lacks offense.
I honestly don't know why Booz doesn't play very much, because he is more talented than some of the guys that do. He works hard and does what Mac asks of him, so I can't answer that one! There must be some logic in Mac's head.

I noticed for one thing, he is out of position quite a bit on defense. He does seem to put the effort in, so I bet he gets it down in time.

I've heard GMac say Haluska is a good defender, which must mean Booz is really bad at D because SH isn't all that great either. The 3 point threat of Booze I think is more valuable at this point. If he plays more and teams focus on him, he could always get it back to Petey who is doing a decent job shooting it.
