Another post on Wes, sorry for the inconvience.
I love when they have to say ISU in the first line. This is leading up to the big game with Council Bluffs St Alberts tonight in Fremont.

It is amazing the the World Herald found some space in the sports section for this article. I assumed the Husker spring practice preview section would eat up all of the print.
Actually the Omaha World Herald shows alot of Cyclone love all year. Its amazing. Too bad no Iowa papers do.
Don't you know you aren't supposed to post anything good about Wes. Doing so will make some believe you are promoting Wes as the second coming of Barry Stevens when, in fact, you are just posting interesting articles about a future Cyclone. It is best to just say something like "This Wes kid is doing OK in high school but he'll probably be nothing but a role player at ISU".
59 points! I don't care what anyone say's...this kid can shoot the ball. I'm sure this has been asked on here but what is Nebraska's class D1 compared to Iowa's size system?
Nebraska has 6 classes for Basketball. A,B,C1,C2,D1,D2
A is the Omaha, and Lincoln teams = Iowa 4A.
B is = to 3A
C1/C2 = 2A/1A
D1/D2. 1A and one room school houses that Iowa closed in the 60s, but my outrageous property taxes continue to support.
You are correct. The Iowa edition is actually very good to ISU - much better than the Register. In fact, the entire paper is better than the local rag. I would love for a big publisher to come into DSM and challenge the Register, but, alas, we are too small of a market for that to ever happen.
