Key Defensive Matchup
OSU's top scorer is a 6-6 freshman G/F named James Anderson (16.2 ppg). Based on height and position, I'm assuming and hoping that Rahshon matches up with him on defense, which should be fun to watch.
Makes me almost wish I lived in Iowa so I could watch the game!

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
I heard that he has an ankle injury, they expect him to play but his mobility may be limited. Tulsa World: OSU basketball player James Anderson expected to play Saturday

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
rahshon will shut him down like he does with everyother big time scorer on the other team

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
OSU is a guard oriented team like Baylor. They are quick and will push the ball. They also are 2nd in the league in steals. For reference, Mizzou's 30 minutes of hell is 3rd. Our guards are going to have to play an amazing game to win this one. But I think it is winnable and I fully expect a win.

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
Hopefully our post players are able to play like they were against Mizzu because of there lack of a post game.

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
I think that Craig will have a hard time inside because Marcus Dove is a really good defender.

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
too bad he doesnt play the Point we could get Lee out there on him

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
Would they consider putting Jiri on Dove? Just curious if anybody had any insight. Regardless, whoever Dove is on the other big should be able to have a good game. Well, we'll need them to have a good game if they're going to win. Also, our PG's are going to have to nut up guarding Eaton. That is a big boy.

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
The ISU-OSU game today is also on TV in all Big 12 areas, like Missouri. Giddy up.

Re: Key Defensive Matchup
Looks like starting lineup of 4 guards and a forward is stretching the truth a little bit by Okie State: 6-6, 6-5, 6-9, 5-11, 6-5.
Since we have Rashon at 6-6 and Wesley at 6-7 and Craig at 6-10 and Jiri at 6-11 and BP at 5-11, we may match up well against them compared to some teams. All of our starters can jump and we should be able to keep up.
