Let's chill on the "Brackins leavin' early" bit, that stuff gets thrown around so much around this state. Every decent player who comes to ISU or Iowa gets this tag.

Remember, there are only 2 rounds in the NBA draft and only 62 players get picked. Not to mention all the no name foreign players who seem to take up half the draft.

Yeah, there was this recruit from Africa named Femme that we had in for a visit when LE was still here. My roommate was a manager and told us that we really wanted him so to get a chant going. We had our section chanting "We want Femme", but I think we lost this one when one of my buddies (male) screamed "I love you Femme!!!".

IMO barnes is essentially a lock to come to ISU.... he's just gotta be fair to the rest of the schools after him and not just kill it by commiting in 9th grade like dykstra lol

A chant might not be over the top, but didn't the K-State fans show up for Michael Beasley's high school games and AAU tournaments with signs and what not? I would say that is over the top, but then again Beasley is playing for K-State...

We should be a little careful. Michigan has the #1 ranked football recruit in this weekend. The school told the students (at the MIchigan/Iowa BB game) that any signs with a recruit's name would be removed due to NCAA rules.

What made the discussion difficult is that the school cannot comfirm that the recruit is coming and couldn't "mention" his name so they had to go with "if a top ranked recruit were to be at the game" etc. I didn't hear the penalties for chants though.
