President Geoffrey at the Bball Game

So, today at the game, I noticed President Geoffrey sitting his his normal spot on the south side of the Coliseum along with his wife.

During the game, during a couple situations I noticed President Geoffrey get up and the first time, being the only one in his section to stand up and applaud a play, very emphatically.

The second time I saw him rise to his feet this time to voice his displeasure over a call by the officials. He seemed to be very upset about it.

I just thought it was 1) Great to see him get so involved during the game and being an active participant in the action and 2) Funny to watch his reactions to each play.

I don't know if anyone else happened to see him, but it was just something I wanted to comment on, more for fact #1 than fact #2.

Cool to hear that Geoffrey was upset at the officials. We're lucky to have Geoffrey. He is the reason we have Pollard and the reason we have all of these great coaches. A President that wants successful athletics is definitely important at ISU.

Plus he likes to brew his own beer!

I always take a peek at him and JP during the game to see their reactions. Both of them always seem to enjoy themselves. I especially love watching Pres. Geoffrey, sometimes his reactions are hilarious. And i like how he eats his popcorn. lol what a great guy!

Prez Geoff kinda rocks. I remember Parks gently tapping his wrist simulating clapping... we used to joke whether he was happy with a play or taking his own pulse.

Geoff seems to be a fan and enjoys his outings - doesn't need to behave in any predetermined manner because he's there to see an athletic contest because he *wants to*.

His reactions to a great play or if something doesn't go our way seem very genuine.

Cool guy.

Well before Cyclone Alley was here I bet noone knew what that chant was, when teh creation of CA we all knew of the BS chant. (sarcasm)

Haha I seen Geoffery getting angry during those technical fouls and it was downright hilarious!! I've never laughed so hard, he was leaning ahead seemed to be 2 rows ahead of him screaming and pointing!! Great to see support from the President and see him getting into the game and supporting the Coaches and Teams.

During the ISU-KSU football game this year he was walking through the student section high fiveing people left and right. It was great to see him joking around with all of us, even those who happened to be out tailgating all morning

Geoffroy is a great guy and I couldn't imagine a better person running our university

He's certainly much better than that clown Martin Jischke. Wonder if he even ever attended athletic events.

Top to bottom, I don't know if ISU has ever had a better staff. I hope it yields us success - these guys have put things in motion to get there and they deserve it.

Jischke would walk across campus with his head down and not say anything to anyone. I worked in Financial Aid in college in the same building as his office. Would say hello a lot and he would never respond.

Geoffrey is very friendly.

Sat 5 rows behind Geoffrey and wow he gets into it. Always cheering for us which is great, but a couple times he was up and screaming at the refs. Gotta love it.
