For the KU game coming up next wedensday I just hope we can carry some of this momentum into that game to the point were we can play them respectably. Then maybe we will have the confidence to get the upset when KU comes to Ames!

I think KU guards eat up Peterson. Garrett gets more minutes.

Also, we'll see IF Wesley is about ready for the NBA. He has to have big games against big time programs.

I'd love for us to beat KU as much as anyone. I don't see it happening.

But I'm sure as heck going to hope for it!

i think we could see a heavy dose of cam lee, just like when we shut down durant with ceaser i could see us matching up rahshon against rush, cam lee against collins, and wesley against robinson, then jiri vs. arthur, and brackins/AT vs. kahn (when garret and peterson are in the game they'll have to match up with collins i guess

the thing that worries me the most is our point guards getting pushed around like they did for part of the okie state game

I think the defense will be there for a while. I'm more worried about scoring points. If I had to put a score down, 85-63. KU. we can't afford any 12-0 or 19-2 runs.

true, if we can keep them from going on any big runs, i think our defense can keep us in the game

i think our defense has been playing exceptionally well with the exception of brackins getting beat off the dribble repeatedly yesterday, the defense could be the difference between getting killed and keeping it close

We need to play controlled and shorten the game as much as possible...if we get into a track meet, it's going to be a long game. If we go deep into the shot clock and make them go deep into the shot clock on their end, our chances get better. We've been playing better lately faster paced, but we need to make sure we don't run a track meet with Kansas because they will absolutely cream us.

When in Big 11 country I always say KU is one of the best in the country and the Big 12 rules. Now when KU is playing the Clones, we have to say that the J-hawkies are just 19-20 year old kids that can be beaten on any given night-- like Wednesday:).

I guess if its a track meet or not, we still will not be able to score against them.

Their half court game is much better than ours and their full court games is much better than ours.

You also have to remember in the phog you are basically playing 6 versus 5 because we seem to get terrible calls from the refs whenever we play there

If the game is slow half court paced, we keep it relatively close (5-13 pts).
If we play their game and its fast paced, we lose by 20-30.
If brackins, Wes, and Clark each nail 6 three pointers, we turn the ball over less than 10 times, lead in rebounds, Jiri has a double-double, and get to the line twice as much as them, then we will win by 10-15. (very unlikely, however.)
