    Re: Thompson the Terror

We kept saying during the game how impressed we were with AT....and at one point with maybe 50 seconds to go we were even clamoring for him to be in the game for one last defensive stand. Great game on his part.

thompson had a couple really nice back door passes as well. I think one was to peterson, and the other to a cutting craig that tried to throw down on someone but was fouled and go to the line.

on a another note little off the topic someday craig will be throwing those down on people alot like fizer.

Alex knows his role: Defend, rebound, and DON'T shoot.

AT did an awesome job end of discussion.. i dont see why people have to bash on him, the guy has worked his butt off since high school and he finally had a really good game here and some people still cant give the kid a pat on the back.. pathetic...
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."
