Every time I watch our MBB games on TV, I get a kick out of seeing that dude in Cyclone Alley who wears that big, WWF-type belt slung over his shoulder.
He was a Cyclone Alley member last year and he's easy to recognize: he always has his 'war paint' on and he's kinda big, barrel-chested, and looks like he wears a Cardinal & Gold Toga, but it's that huge belt slung over his shoulder that makes him stand out.
What is that thing; seriously, it looks like he won the International Boxing Federation, or some Ultimate Fighting Championship Belt.

Opps - sorry if it's an old topic. I've been around a while, just not on board a lot due to my heavy travel schedule. Nonetheless; that Dude in CA is kool.
PS: Don't interrupt his Wii game; just tell him his Cyclone Alley efforts are infamous!

As for the belt, I was bored about...two years ago (Fall 2005) during Dead Week. The Iowa Bball game was coming up towards Friday, I think, so I wanted to do something for it. We had a commanding 7-2 lead in the Cy-Hawk series, so a win in MBB would have just about clinched it for us (I figured at least one win in Gymnastics was a lock)
So I made something to celebrate that we were going to officially have a Cyclone State. (The added bonus was that we had already beat Drake and UNI, so we were ACTUALLY going to win the mythical "state title" if we won.) I used to watch wrestling when I was younger, but couldn't remember what the title belt looked like. A quick Google image search gave me something to work on, and after a week or so with posterboard, black fabric, gold spraypaint, my printer, about a dozen bags of fashion beads from Wal-Mart (which took a LONG time to set individually with tweezers), and a LOT of superglue (seriously, I probably killed quite a few brain cells that week - you could smell the glue from the hallway), the belt was born...
Had to put it away when we lost the series last year, I really should start bringing it to Bball games again.
(And yes, the Iowa in the center does spin)

There is a new girl in Cyclone Alley that scares me. They show her on the screen sometimes and she is usually over by the area the team comes in from.
