but, there is always a catch, it's not in HD. The game on ESPN 2 at the same time is in HD, but not ours. What a bunch of crap.
I know, I should be happy it is on national TV, but dammit, I like my HD!

To my knowledge, we still haven't broken our ESPN curse have we? We've lost a ton of games in a row on ESPN.

We beat Army in FB on ESPN2 in 2005. That might be the last one. God knows when we last won in BB on ESPN or the duece.

The problem with our ESPN "curse" is that we're not a big enough of a name to get on ESPN against a team that's in the same state we are or worse. Our only games on ESPN last year were Kansas, and that's the same for this year. We almost broke the streak last year in Hilton, though. Stupid Brandon Rush.

Reason we have such a bad ESPN losing streak is because ESPN will only put elite teams on. It just happens to be that when they put those elite teams on, occasionally our team is playing said elite team.

As of late, if we're on ESPN, it's because we're against a vastly superior opponent with a huge following.
