This fall, one of my kids got hurt on the field, was grabbing his leg. The ref saw it, stopped the clock and then immediately proceeded to try to help the kid to his feet. I was already on my way out and when I saw this - I sprinted and hollered at him to let him lay on the ground.
I was livid, but couldn't address the official until after the game - as the kid needed my attention and not some coach going off at an official during an injury.
I had obviously calmed down after the game and politely reminded the official it is the coaches job to assess and assist a player in the event of an injury. Especially when the kid is on the ground hollering and grabbing his leg.
If I was the Linn-Mar coach, I'd be ticked at that zebra.
