First 3 Big 12 road games

Combined Big 12 record of opposing teams:

11-0.

Combined overall record of opposing teams:

48-6.

I really look forward to a time when we can start winning games like this. But winning on the road is tough enough even when you aren't playing the best a deep Big 12 has to offer.

Put the freakout on hold until next week. We need to win against Colorado and maybe we can get one against NU on the road. We'll be back to 4-3 in the conference and this will seem like a long time ago.

Agreed.

Unfortunately we should have won that first conference road game.

But I highly doubt the freakout will be on hold if we lose this Saturday - especially if it's in the 10+ category. Just how it works 'round here. ;)

Re: First 3 Big 12 road games

By the end of the weekend I predict that the most vocal will be once again be harping about how we should NEVER lose to teams like Kansas and Kansas State, that we beat them when LE/WM were our coaches, loudly questioning whether McDermott was the right hire and if he'll ever get it done at ISU.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

I'm glad I missed out on that stuff, I don't remember seeing much of it.

Losing to K-State this year isn't as shameful as it was 3-4 years ago...although it seems like we don't win there very often.

They have 2 players who were Top 5 recuits on their team...with 1 who is playing Kevin Durant-ish so far this year.
