Re: KU NOT SO TOUGH
KU is better than last year's team in that their defense is simply stifling. It's a one and done for opposing teams. To win, you must shoot like hell and make a lot.

Re: KU NOT SO TOUGH
This is the best KU team I have seen in a long time if not ever. They are very deep and talented at the post. Hell, they have Kaun coming off the bench who would be our best post player by far along with probably 10 other schools in the Big XII. I see them as an automatic Final Four team, but know not everyone will share that opinion! That's why it is an opinion.

As far as us "losing to anybody last night," I'd disagree. We were outmanned by the best team in the nation last night, and that affected our play. We play anyone else in the Big XII last nite and we have a completely different game plan for the situation. I don't see how losing by 25 to the best team in the nation last night is a clear cut sign that we would have lost to teams like Oakland, Maryland-Eastern Shore, or Nebraska, for that matter, last night.

Re: KU NOT SO TOUGH
the championship trophey is coming to lawrence this year. they are too stacked. and don't be surprised when they run the table. they don't seem like the kind of team that takes games off.

Re: KU NOT SO TOUGH
Kansas is good. Very good. Maybe you meant they're not tough compared to an NBA team...I would be surprised to not see them in the Final Four.

Cyfanhood - You've gotta be sitting there and laughing at the "pot-stirring" you just unleashed......nice work on keeping it going with little jabs too!
Everyone Else - Nobody in their right minds actually thinks KU is anything but the best team in the country and the most-likely pick for this year's NC. No need to let Cyfanhood get us all worked up, that's just what he's trying to do!

Sorry, I disagree. Kaun wouldn't even start for ISU. Hubalik and Brackins are better players. Kaun is a stiff who would be great to have coming off the bench for defense and five more fouls.
I've been burned by KU too many times. No way I am picking them past the Final Four.

You're dillusional to think Kaun wouldn't be starting for us. I hate him as much as anyone but he's darn good down low.

Are you serious? Heck that freshman center would get 25 mins of playing time at ISU, he may even start for ISU.

So...if KU is not so tough...was does that say about us and our 24 point loss last night? -
