Mental health

After doing a psychiatric analysis of ISU's basketball team I've come up with the following diagnosis by position.

PG
Starter- A PG who is actually a SG (posession)
Backup- Believes he's the only one on the court (narcism)

SG
Starter- Could be a PF, but plays the SG, but should be the SF (multi-personality)
Backup- See's basketball hoops that aren't really there (dillusional)

SF
Starter- Plays the SF, but actually plays like a PF in the body of a SF (denial)

PF
Starter- Plays the PF great, plays the SG great (split personality)
Backup- One game good, one game bad, one game good... (bi-polar)

Center
Starter- Any given night believes he's the SG,SF,PF,C (schizo)
Backup- Refer back to backup PF

I believe the whole thing is starting to drive me a little crazy

Of course you stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, right?

Not bad, except I'm not sure I'd classify our SG as possibly being a PF.

Care to examine the coach and perhaps AD?

I find the title of your thread humorous when you follow it up with a post like that and then the one in the other thread.

When we win, the sun shines and the bird are chirping.

After a loss, we're a bunch of selfish, narcissistic schitzos in denial and delusional about our many personalities and other disorders.

Someone...please pass the salt...

Totally agree with that one.

Hardly an evaluation from just one game. What team have you been watching?

I hate to tell you think SingSing, but the name of the game in BBall anymore is versatility. Most players can play 2 or 3 spots and because of that you are going to get your "multi personality" disorder which so disgusts you.

Re: Mental health

I ask the same question of you. I've been watching almost every game this season and progressively - this group is playing better and playing as a team.

Last night, basically gotta ignore most of it as we're outmatched at very position. It's a David and Goliath - maybe if we played 'em 20 times we could be the triumphant David...once.

And frankly, terms like bi-polar and such are really not all that amusing to toss around about our athletes - joke or not.

AT played a huge roll in our win Saturday and played pretty decent Wednesday night too - and here is is, after getting worked last night (as everyone else did) - tagged as a "bi-polar" athlete.

I love the fact that some of our guys have multiple personality disorder. It allows us to do many things we couldn't do with "normal" people.

Yes. I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the wins over MU or OSU without it. I recommend all out of state Clones purchase it.
