We need a REAL guard... not to bash too much on Peterson, Diante.. they're doing what they can at this point, but really.. that's hurting us right now. Our guards can't shoot.. period.

The state of Kansas just kicked the crap out of Iowa State. (on the road anyways)
The Colorado game is huge, we need a confidence booster.
I'm just glad we got our toughest road games over with.

I may live there but the way these last two games went I don't want to see the Cyclones anywhere near Kansas for a while. I hope returning to Hilton can get this team back on track.

What bothers me more than losing the last two games by more than 24 points...is that I don't see much help coming any time soon. Recruiting has to pick up.

Colorado lost at home after being up by 14 points with 10 minutes to go in the game to an average at best Missouri team. No way they win in Hilton.

Help is coming in the form of experience and weight training. And eligibility of someone I think will be a difference maker.

KU and KSU have us outmanned at every position (size and strength). I don't see that our 2008 recruiting class is going to change that. We are probably 3-4 years away from competing for a Big 12 title. Sorry to be a pessimist. That's just reality. Our best teams had physical players (Tinsley, Horton, S. Johnson and Fizer). That's what it takes to win in the Big 12.

There is good news on that front. Appleton is at KU this weekend but didn't go to the game. I find that a good sign.

Good point, but we have a lot greater potential growth in this area than most other teams. That is a net gain for us.

Agreed we need to get more physical. Brackins lacks experience and Jiri is not strong enough. We also need guards that can really shoot. Lucca will help out tremendously.
