I think if the guards were already here or on the way we wouldn't be recruiting Appleton or others. I hope I'm wrong in saying that.

Appleton is icing on the cake. We can still be successful next year without him.

I am wondering if maybe the staff might be worried that Diante isn't developing as fast as they thought he would.

I don't get that impression from the staff at all, Mac only has good things to say about DG and how fast he is improving. He just needs to get stronger so he can finish in the paint, and also work on that outside shot as well. In my opinion I think DG is already well on his way developing his outside shot. Strenghth will come in the next couple off seasons. It is really hard to gain weight in season. We'll have to wait and see this summer. Also, i wonder if something may be up with boozer, maybe he is thinking about leaving to go to a smaller school where he can play, that is just my opinion though, no sources to back that up.

I was referring to physically, not mentally with his game. He has definitely got better running the offense. I was just noticing last game how narrow his frame is. It is going to be hard for him to add weight.

I will agree that we need a banger and some meat on our team more than we will need a PG next year. But we do need a PG desperately and Appleton will help out with that. He would be a starter immediately with his ability to D up
