awesome defense on Roby and the smell of burnt crow for his 3's. Peterson was decent, so was Garett. Jiri was actually the demon tonight. He was hustling, very aggressive and good defense. Clark was doing his usual thing. Thompson and Cory were solid.
solid team effort...once we got past that horrific first half.
Yeah sean was great. Everyone should be impressed with our bench play tonight... Def. important with the duration of conference play

He did struggle earily and just before he hit his 1st three i thought to myself, get him out of there. Once he hit the one then the second his whole game got better. Its amazing what hitting a shot can do for a guy. I hope he keeps it up.
I thought we were surprisingly solid after our aweful start. Great play by SH.
Shutting down Roby was awesome.
prolly would get my mvp for the game - especially on defense. just NO breathing room, even around screens for roby

I think having Jiri and Brackins hang out off their man in the lane also had alot to do with shutting down Roby. Every time he tried to make a move there was a big right in front of him...
Just read in the register article that it was Sean's 21st birthday today. Good present to himself tonight!
There is absolutely no need to call out other fans in this manner. Before tonight, Sean has been an offensive debacle. I'm elated he's starting to come out of his slump - I was on my feet in joy each time he scored - mostly those 2 three-point shots. I could see the confidence come back to him.Quote:

Because frankly, it's uncalled for. And I can assure you - it won't be allowed to continue much longer.
Sean did play great defense tonite. The thing that shocked me about them, was that there was no counterattack.....I believe we had Jiri down there from the middle of the first half on, and as far as I could see, they didn't make any real adjustments to there offense. Just kept trying the same thing over and over by driving the middle of the lane. I gotta think they will have some sort of different game plan for us when we visit them, what it is I don't know.
The crowd got as loud as it did all night when Sean made his shots. It's not like people are cheering for him to fail and I hate it when people make it seem like that. Dude had a very solid game, really shut down Roby when we needed him too, and it was a lot of fun to cheer him on.
That being said, it's one game. It will take more than that to make me think he should be getting minutes next season.
