Bergan beats Ainsworth 77-54
I wish I had gone to Grand Island to watch this game instead of going to Lincoln to watch ISU look just terrible.
The big match up between Wes and Jesse Carr was everything it was supposed to be. Jesse had 19, he played every minute, in the 1st half and finished with 27. Wes only had 7 points at half and finished with 33. Ainsworth only subbed one player the whole game for less than 2 minutes. Bergan plays 10 and ran Ainsworth into the ground.
Ainsworth is #5 in class C-1 and is 16-2, Bergan in #1 in Class D-1 and is 18-0. Every so often a small school team has a dream season and Bergan is having one. In the past 2 weeks Bergan has beat the #2 (twice), # 5 and # 7 team in Class C-1, two classes above D-1 Bergan. Max Preps has Bergan rnaked #7 in the state of NE, regardless of size.

With Eikmeier and Jesse Carr playing for us today, we likely would have won, huh? There were probably other guards playing in that game that were better than ours. VERY frustrating to watch today. Thanks for Eikmeier update - get him here as soon as possible, and tell him to bring some teammates with him.
