Would this be a bad time to tell ya'll that I have had my AC on for the past 3 days? ;)

J/K I've done my time in Iowa winters. Not sure I could ever move back... just hate everything about Oct-May in Iowa.

OHare cancels a lot more planes than Midway. You can shuttle for $16 to Midway and fly southwest. I know someone who did that last Friday.

Sounds like 6-10 from Des Moines southeast with the heaviest tomorrow night. Ames isn't far from Des Moines so expect decent snow fall as well tomorrow night.

Is that 6-10 a possibility for the metro as well or are we more on the lower end of that spectrum? Just trying to decide if I can drive to the game from WDM or if I have to ski

Definitely on the lower end of the spectrum. I would say 5-7 inches for the Metro. Whenever you are on the edge of a graphical representation, you might as well put the minimum of the max. spread as your hopeful snowfall. Ames I would put at 3-6 inches.

Remember it will be snowing for quite awhile so it won't all have fallen by game time. Rember your snow shoes and put a big orange flag on your car so you can find it.

It sounds like most of the snow is going to take place late tuesday night into wed. am. So probably only an inch or two by the end of the game.

I just went to weather.com and clicked on the 10-day weather outlook, and it didn't have much for tomorrow but start getting bad late tuesday night. and it has heavy snowfall all day wednesday into wednesday night...looks like it could be more snow than originally thought, wx4cy or mrswx4cy what's your prediction

From the weather this morning, it looks like snow in the afternoon, followed by a break in the evening, and then snow picking up again late tuesday night into wednesday.

I had a bad dream last night, that when i got to Hilton tonight, I was the only person sitting there in the stands... The players still played. But it was so quiet and lonely in there. On the plus side, we won 72-65. Wes had 25 points.

Additional concerns are thunder snow and blowing snow. We like to say hear thunder, expect a foot! I love big snows! It just started in WDM about an hour ago.
