Any Wesley news?
Does anyone know if he will play tomorrow?

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams -

Yeah there is a link on the dmregister homepage

ISU basketball: Johnson's playing status for Tuesday undetermined | DesMoinesRegister.com | The Des Moines Register
Here's the link. G-Mac wouldn't let him talk to the reporters, but I don't know if that is normal precaution, a good sign, or a bad sign.

Re: Any Wesley news?
I would put my personal odds (no factual information to back it up) of him playing at about 35-40%. I could probably lower those odds and still feel safe about them too. Just don't have a great feeling about seeing him tomorrow night.

If we can't beat NE without Wesley, we don't beat aTm without him.

We're playing at HOME. In Hilton, where anything can happen.
Life offers us few absolutes. Take advantage of the phenomenon.

I'll be cheering loud tomorrow night - but it's certainly not pessimism thinking we won't win tomorrow night without Wes. It's realistic.
It would be a very tall task to win with him. Beating Texas, IMO, is far more possible than beating A&M - especially with our defense.

Re: Any Wesley news?
I think he'll play but be a liability on defense as he was when he was playing hurt early.

Re: Any Wesley news?
Missouri beating K-State in Columbia gives me faith that just about any Big 12 team can lose on the road.

Life offers us few absolutes. Take advantage of the phenomenon. I'll be at home screaming at the TV hoping for victory. But realistically, I've seen aTm play. I think they are better than we are with Wesley. Without him, we don't match up very well. If we win, it will have to be one of those games where we are hot and they are not combined with tight defense.
I don't think I was being pessimistic.

Direct quote from the managers and trainers... "Wes will go tonight and should be at about 90%."
