Tell me I'm not the only one.........

That thought the refs were absolutely terrible yesterday. I sat across from ISU's bench in row 3 and witnessed Wesley Johnson getting jersey pulled from behind RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF and a no call.

ISU would get called for hand checking and Texas wouldn't.

I don't normally complain about the refs, but yesterdays game was terrible in my opinion.

Unbiased opinion is that they did an ok job, but many here seem to think it was the worst display they've ever seen.

They were the lousiest I have seen for several weeks. Just my opinion. They gave the ball to us when Sean Haluska dove into the guy. The call on Rashon over the 5-11 was not as good a foul call as some people claim. Rashon will attest to that. A five second call on BP wandering in the back court was crazy. Jiri was called for a couple of fouls that were miniscule. McD quizzed them quite a bit. The refs looks like they were from Rent a Ref.

Yes, the refs were bad, but it went both ways. How did Haluska get sent to the line in the second half when he and another guy were going for the ball? When they showed the replay I could not believe a foul was called on Texas.

I also can remember on a free throw by ISU that was clanked, WJ jumped over a guys back and it was not called, it was pretty bad too.

The refs did not cost ISU this game! ISU should not lose at home when they are up by 13 in the second half! I do not care if you are playing the Celtics!

Rahshon moved in front of Abrams and wasn't established. You can't impede the offensive player's movement without having pre-established defensive position.

It was a foul. A lousy way and time to get a foul as RC was somewhat duped into it by Abrams (thus the reason everyone is mad about the call), but a foul nonetheless.

How was the 5 second call on Peterson a bad call? 5 seconds is five seconds, right?

I thought the 3 seconds call was the worst. Its college basketball, you don't call that unless its obvious. They had to be looking at that specifically to recognize that.

I respect your opinion, but what the hell were you watching yesterday????????

That was the worst job I've seen by a crew all year, in any game I've watched this season. My biggest harp is the inconsistency of the calls. They cost us the game, no doubt about it. I think that game tape needs to be sent to the Big XII and reviewed.

That game never should have gone into overtime.

He was moving north and south and the defender was not totally in his grill. First time I have seen a play called like that in 40 years of watching games. Have you seen one just like that called before?

I'm just saying that watching the game on TV and being completely unbiased, I only saw a couple questionable calls.

1.) no call on goaltending

2.) foul on Tx that sent Haluska to the line

You will get 2-3 questionable calls in everygame. It was an OK job by the officials because of that IMO. I didn't see any bias nor did I want to put my foot through my TV at any point in the game over a call.

Barnes asked the officials to watch it and guess what...they did at his request and Jiri was in the lane for 3+ seconds. That is a violation. It was the correct call again.

So what does the group think about the dunk that cleared the rim on its way through, bounced back out, and was not counted. Was that a good or bad call. I only ask because that was a weird play and the ball made it down past the rim before bouncing bck up and out.
