    Sight of the week

    Fans wearing pink at Iowa State: Great gesture by the Cyclone faithful in honor of coach Greg McDermott's wife, who has battled breast cancer. Announcers didn't mention it enough during highlights of the overtime loss to Texas.

    Did you notice the Rutgers women actually wore pink uni's. I believe V Stringer is a survivor as well. Nice gesture by the school.

    I think ISU was the only men's team that had their fans going pink. Most of the women's games over the weekend had at least one team in pink.

    On ESPN they said that at Tennessee the ref's whistles are linked to the game clock. Apparently one of the ref's blew the game over .02 of a second early and it gave Tennessee the win.... pretty crazy.
    Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

    I just got to see video of Rahshon's gravity defying dunk, and I was amazed at the amount of pink around the court. That was really, really cool, and I appreciate the effort by the fans to so enthusiastically and impressively do that.
