Bergan (Eikmeier) beats OCA 92-39

Fremont Bergan goes to 20-0. They are starting to catch a lot of press on how good they are. They have one more game on Friday before Districts.

Bergan boys now 20-0 with 92-39 victory - Sports - Prep - The Fremont Tribune - Fremont, Nebraska's Community Newspaper

Omaha World has them ranked 10th in the state regardless of size. This is the 1st time a small school has ever been ranked in the all school rankings.

Omaha.com Sports Section

MaxPreps has Bergan ranked 3rd overall. This is a computer ranking without any human input into the rankings.

Since the other thread is closed I will make some comments on Friday's game. Wahoo was not going to let either guard beat them and ran a triangle and 2. It was the strangest game I have seen. Both Bergan guards spent most of the game standing by the sidelines with thier defenders. Bergan ran a 3 on 3 offense, when ever either guard touched the ball a 2nd defender would be all over them and it freed up the other to score and have a good game.

I take a couple of days off and I am cut to ribbons. I have posted every article I could find for the last week.

Don't listen to cyclone #1. I want to know how Wes did.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

Never mind, read the article and saw he had 39. Must have been a little off that night.

Hmmm, no trace of a post by cyclone #1. I assume it was a great post and the mods just moved it to some type of 'hall of fame' thread....

Patrick who?

It's nice to see that there is ONE smart person that lives in the state of Nebraska. Good work, love the updates.

Re: Bergan Beats OCA 92-39

I just read part of the other thread. I do not let very much get to me anymore. He can say anything he wants about me or about small schools and small school players, but Wes has lead his team to a Top Ten ranking in the Omaha World Herald. This is the first time a small school has every received that kind of recognition. Wes must be doing something right.

Oops missed an article, would not want to be accused of censoring.

Also we had about a dozen Cyclone Fans at the OCA game on Saturday.

You've been doing a great job, and I respect anybody that stays strong as a Cyclone in the wild country of Nebraska. That's not always easy

Keep it up! It's a blast reading about our future Cyclone!

Thank you very much for the update NebrClone! How did Wes feel about all the Cyclone fans that showed up, and how did the Cyclone fans think Wes played.

If you went to the game, I'd like to hear how you thought he looked and what not. Thanks for the updates and keep um coming!

Did anyone look closer at that first article? They won 92-39, and they were only up 44-31 at halftime. They outscored the opponent 26-0 in the third quarter and 48-8 in the second half.
