For the first time in a long time

I actually turned the game off. The combination of Brackin's weak post moves and 3-point shots to Wesley's forced shots and Thompson air balling 2 footers I couldn't take anymore. How can 3 of the worst 3 point shooters in the league suddenly become red hot? Why does a team that shoots free throws at a 66% clip suddenly hit 90% against us.

Sorry just had to vent. I feel better now.

I kept it on, but cursed numerous times. Along with a sick feeling in my stomach.

No its ok. We all feel the same way.

We are the worst ball handling team in the Big 12. It really is pathetic to watch. It would be one story to watch us lose if we could at least not make horrible decisions, turn the ball over, and have no offense besides random 3s

Go Clones! Go Knights!

That sums up my night exactly. I actually shut the game off. I just can't watch this team right now.

Re: For the first time in a long time

I resisted the temptation to do the same. Its frustrating right now no doubt. Our guys are playing with absolutely ZERO confidence and it shows by the amount of bunnies that are left short. Wes is still hobbling at times out there, but without him we are even worse. If we can't get the ball into Jiri, we are in big trouble. I'll still be in Hilton's rafters Saturday sweating and cheering my balls off.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

Re: For the first time in a long time

That was pathetic. I can not watch an ISU game without cusing up a storm. I will once again state what I have been saying for a while now: We do not have to worry about ANYONE leaving early from this team.

On a side note, I am really starting to question McDermott's Coaching. This team really has gotten any better from day one, in fact it looks to me like the offense has taken several steps backwards.

The worst thing about this: I don't see us getting that much better next year. I am still a McD backer, but if this team doesn't go to a post season at all next year, I won't be anymore.

Same here...shut it off for the first time that i can remember. Starting to get sad that you expect the team to crumble, not get rebounds, and shoot 3's all night.

Except Jiri did play great

I turned it off about a half-dozen times. Each time I couldn't stand not knowing what was happening and turning the damn thing back on.

Perhaps I'm jaded, but I'm beginning to think we suck too much for me to care this much. I'm getting really tired of seeing the same mistakes from the same players. I keep hoping that at some point I'll just sort of expect it, so it won't be so bad when it happens. But, god help me, I just can't help but remain hopeful that we'll get better, eventually.

I've seen us play worse this year if that is any consolation.

Re: For the first time in a long time

I can't believe the game was a close as it was, because our offense doesn't even exist. I'm so sick of seeing Craig force up ridiculous shots. Mac has got to get the offense to move. They all just seem to stand around until someone decides it's time to chuck up a dumb shot. I had to keep the game on, but I really didn't want to watch anymore. Jiri and DG played well, everyone else...Not so much. And I didn't understand why all of a sudden this game Mac had CJ playing so much instead of AT? Thought that was kind of weird since AT had been playing so well lately.

Third time I've turned it off before the end this year. I usually sneak back and watch after a few minutes to cool off.

Me 2! If we're just going to make the same mistakes over and over again and if we're just going to run a terrible offense that involves chucking up a terrible 3 early in the shot clock (usually by one of our bigs) than why did we fire Morgan? Seriously, I know he had a sinking ship, but we have/are having 2 years worse than his worst year!
