does anyone know who we're recruiting for 09. i've heard a lot about this 08 and quite a bit about 2010, but nothing on 2009. I'm not sure but isn't there another Korver in school, those boys seem like they'd fit McDermont's system perfectly. Nevermind, i did some research and kirk is a senior not a junior.

Givon Crump, Rodney Williams jr., and Royce White are our main targets, but that is all I know.

Going by that theory all the stars would be going to all the crappy teams just for instant playing time... we are terrible! I always see the highly rated recruits go to highly rated teams!

i wouldn't have a problem with getting white or williams, but how much interest do they have in us, what are the chances of us getting any of those guys

Are best player played minimal minutes in the second half, are best freshman played 0 minutes in the second half. Are coach went with a 4 guard lineup to change things up the entire second half. He figured out a way to beat a team that was destroying us in the first half. I thought this was one of the greatest games I've seen Iowa State play in years.

IMO we have a legit chance at Williams, but not so much White. Williams seems to really like us. Of course, he will probably explode on the aau circuit and go to Duke or North Carolina.

Via free info on scout, we seem to be recruiting David Imes, a sf/pf from Brooklyn NY in the class of '08.

Rodney Williams is still on the fence. I think we've got a chance with him still, but U of Minnesota is working him hard. Story i'm hearing is he wants to leave the Twin Cities to play. (This isn't nearly as reliable as my Royce White source, though).

Blalock wasn't from Brooklyn. He's a Boston boy.
