Why YOU'RE an idiot!

If you think that McDermott is not a good coach or even worse, if you think Morgan was better.

Morgan's last year w/ much more talent (Stinson & Blalock) we had 16 wins. This year w/ far less talent ( 3 walk ons playing a lot of minutes) we will have about the same amount of wins. How many teams in the country have to play 3 walk ons? Let alone how many of them win a game against a big 12 team?

As shown numerous times on this board, the 3rd year is where McDermott's teams start to click. I think it is going to take him four years at ISU due to the mess he inherited when he took this job. You can't blame all the player turnover on coach. Not when he took this job thinking he would have Carr, Degand, Taggart, and possibly Blalock only to realize he had none of them. (not to mention our recruits in Westbrook and Stinnett) He was stuck doing last minute recruiting in which he had his hits (Wes) and his misses. Give him time. If we start seeing players like Eik, Buckley, Mann start leaving/getting in trouble then we should be concerned. Until then, we need to give Mac the benefit of the doubt and show some respect to a man that took over the program when it was rock bottom!!! He is OUR coach and the RIGHT coach!

Right! Then we would have the SA situation from EIU. Here, though, it seems like our guy's players rally around him, quality guys with character are coming in, and things are really coming together nicely.

You might want to edit the title to "Why You're an idiot!" It's just that when you call people out, they're gonna bash on you for grammatical errors.

I could really care less about grammatical errors. I will change it, but this is a freakin message board, not english class.

I had 60,000 credits on ISU to win outright. The group had a lot of credits so we could not afford a team loss.

McD has been to NCAA three years running, He has to be a good coach. Look how good UNI is today. Hmmm. Even Drake beat them by ten on the road. It just looks like the offensive set struggle.

It's just hard to have a lot of credibility when you don't appear to know the basics of the English language and then draw attention to it with CAPITAL LETTERS

I'm a poster on a message board. How much credibility do I have? I would change it but I don't know how.

I honestly don't think it matters what any of us message boarders think. GM isn't going anyway so there is no reason to argue over this. I am all for stopping the "I have my doubts" vs. "YOUR TOTALLY DUMB" threads and getting back to cheering on the cyclones.:yes:

Our program is in the 30th month of a rebuild. We have no real redshirts. We are shooting challenged. We play very hard. We can jump well at times. We can get the ball up court. We can play good defense. We just do not score enough to make it easy. If we score 70, watch out.

Hard to argue w/ you. I am not one to usually start threads but I was a little angry when I got home and read some posts by fans on this board. I am telling them to take a deep breath but I probably should be doing the same thing right now
