Everything that was going on with the basketball program, I might have wanted to leave too. Some people don't realize that this is these guys' lives they're dealing with. It's not just a game or just about if they're a Cyclone or a Hawk. He made the best decision for himself, and you can't knock him for that. His brother now plays here and he came to support him. I think we as Cyclone fans need to be classy enough to treat Adam and his family with respect when they come to games. You don't have to like him, but you don't have to bash on him. Just my opinion. It is one thing to hold a grudge against Adam, and if someone does that is their issue. The line I think they cross is heckeling (spelling?) him while he sits with his parents and trys to cheer on his brother (and ISU). That is kinda low... | | |

I was standing in CA right in front of the guy who was yelling at Haluska, it was fairly harmless. The first time he yelled, Adam looked and started laughing which egged the kid on more. He was just trying to be funny yelling things like "an intramural championship is better than a big 10 championship!" I was actually surprised more people weren't yelling things at him.

I'm sure Adam considers himself a Hawk, which he should. He was in town to watch his brother, good for him.

I just figured he had enough and was ready to transfer, but then LE got fired and Adam gave Morgan a listen to stay, but was already mentally 'checked out' of Ames? I dunno, just my speculation, but I did hear he couldn't stand LE after one year.

whoops, I must've clapped right through his name - I wouldn't of if I'd remembered who he was. He screwed up just like so many of the guys we've forgiven...he's since gotten help and has to pay for his mistake every day for the rest of his life. Despite what he did in the past he is a good man today that has turned his life around. (just to clarify I'm talking about Brown, NOT Haluska...he's still wallowing in his own filth *half-kidding*)

Let's see ...
transfer to Iowa (AH) or 30 disks full of child porn (Brown), hmmm....
4th degree criminal mischeif (MT) or soliciting a 15 year old (Brown), hmmm...

I cannot believe Brown was there. You would think ISU would do everything possible to brush that under the rug.

You're right, when AT goes back to Carver I'm sure he'll be hearing it from all 6 of the fans in attendance |

4th degree criminal mischeif (MT) or soliciting a 15 year old (Brown), hmmm... I'm not excusing in any way what he did and I know he doesn't either. It was a horrible thing and a serious problem. I am saying that I have spoken with him several times since and know that he has paid for what he did and turned his life around. I don't expect everybody to act like nothing happened but I know how hard it has been for him too and am glad he was able to get a few cheers yesterday.

I was right around that area too and was about ready to beat the living **** out of that guy. He and his 7 loser friends thought it was just the funniest thing in the world yelling stuff at Adam. Hey, I can't say I really like Adam either. He essentially screwed us over. Whatever though people, let it go, he had his reasons and it's OVER. His little brother had a HUGE game for us yesterday and we got a row of friggin dumbsh*ts that are yelling obscentities towards Adam, who not only was sitting next to his wife, but his parents and little brother as well. Absolutely pathetic. Again, I was about ready to punch the one kid, and I've NEVER started a fight before in my life. The crap he was yelling and yelling loudly (which was NOT all "harmless" - many times calling Adam a derogatory three letter word for a gay person) combined with how we were playing made me very embarrassed and VERY angry.
