According to Hassel, he was asked how he thought the Cyclones would be if he was still with the team... Mike says that they would be a ranked team.

Actually, I think Mike would have put up 20 ppg by himself on this team this year. He would have made all the difference in the world this year just like he did last year. Without him last year, we probably win 1-2 games in conference. We already have the defense to be competitive this year, it is just that scorer like Mike that we need when the offense stagnates (often it seems this year), but he dug his own grave.

For what it's worth, he is also supposed to finish out his degree here at ISU during his time off and I say good for him.

Yeah, but who would you give up to get those 6 players? Everyone wants to say we lost so-and-so or where would we be with Mr. Fill-in-the-blank, but if we had one less schollie, maybe we don't get wesley or brackins.

With that said, I agree about Mike T, he would've helpt this team a lot and we would've had atleast 2 more wins, with him helping beat Bradley when Wesley was out and we would've beat Texas.

Taylor at point would atleast be eqaul to what we have now. His experence would be great. Him driving strong into the lane would be a huge help. One thing this team doesnt have is a guard that can make a shot with a guy in his face or create his own shot and Mike could do both.
