With Sampson gone....
......maybe we can sneak in and snatch this kid. Sounds a little like Jared Homan. Tom Pritchard • 6'8" • 240 • Westlake, Ohio/Lakewood St. Edward High School Pritchard averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots a game as a junior, helping Lakewood St. Edward to a 25-1 record and an appearance in the state semifinal. Under Coach Eric Flannery, Pritchard, who hails from Westlake, Ohio, and St. Edward finished the 2006-07 season ranked 23rd in the USA TODAY Super 25 poll. Prior to a loss in the state semifinal game, St. Edward was ranked in the top ten for most of the season. He is the son of Beth and Dan Pritchard.

No chance, our staff doesnt make enough phone calls for his liking.

Re: With Sampson gone....
okay, this just annoys the crap out of me. why do people make all these random posts about players who we have no idea if they have even heard of ISU... just because sampson is gone and this kid is probably going somewhere other than indiana, doesnt mean that ISU is automatically at the top of the list. lets talk about players who are actually considering us! hows that sound?

Okay, I certainly don't want to annoy you, who do you want to speculate on?

Re: With Sampson gone....
I don't remember actively recruiting Vette and he ended up at ISU because of coaching change, granted he didn't stay.
I just think it might be worth a shot to get our name out there.

Re: With Sampson gone....
How dare you speculate on a message board?
* sarcasm for the slow people on board*

Re: With Sampson gone....
i dont know why ppl have to get so upset about things like this... who cares if we are not really on his list but its just somthing to see as a possibility.. to be honest no1 really "knows" what players have us on their list..
with that said..
it would be cool if Gmac is goin after this guy and would be a good get.. if hes not life moves on
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -

"settle down Francis"
Jeesh. The guy is simply having fun with the idea of recruiting.

Of course, that might be a recruiting violation.
Those known to be actively considering us is a very short list. May as well toss out some for whom it would seem advantageous if they did. -
Re: With Sampson gone....
Does anyone "in the know" know about anybody not already discussed for next year?

Why Speculate on a Guy Who Has Signed a LOI?
Originally Posted by hoopsnut Okay, I certainly don't want to annoy you, who do you want to speculate on? Has Pritchard said he wants out of his LOI? Sure it's a possibility with the coaching change- but until he makes the request to be released any speculation seems meaningless.

Re: With Sampson gone....
I think Gordon wants to transfer to ISU too.
-
Re: With Sampson gone....
No chance we'll get him. Sampson is still calling him as I type. Trying to get him to some Euro league. j/k
On that note though, I believe the guy is still in communication with his former players at Indiana, which really stupid, so I doubt he'll leave recruits alone even now.
Yeah, it's weird.

Re: With Sampson gone....
Maybe Sampson can do some cell phone adds:
It's not the recruiting, it's the network.
