I can't remember but I think I predicted 15-16 before the season. Even though I knew it would be a long season doesn't mean I am real happy about it. I was hoping to be 'pleasently suprised'.
Before the season...hoping for NIT berth.
After seeing first couple games of the season...hoping to not finish in last place.
I was expecting no losses, then after Lucca and Taylor happened I decided to allow 1 loss. I am thoroughly disappointed. ; )
Honestly I just like watching basketball and winning is nice but as long as we play well I'm happy. With all the crap that went on I am a little sad but there has been some individual improvements that have me excited.
I predicted 14-16 wins. I dont think we can hit 16.
Out of all seriousness, this team was going nowhere when you took Mike T and Lucca off the floor. To be honest.... Haluska is light years ahead of where I thought he would be. BP actually looks like a viable walkon backup. DG is progressing quickly. Wes has been hampered by injury... same with Rahshons knee tendonitis. CB has shown great bits of athleticism and a nice touch.
With the Big 12 as good as it is. Im kind of surprised where we are.

Oooooo, been such a rough season, hard to remember what I was thinking before the season. Am I the only one with this problem? Aging. . . . (grin)
I think I expected the team to synchronize better, the players to be more in tune with one another. Thought practice and coaching could overcome shortcomings. Faulty expectations on my part, I think. I didn't give proper weight to the loss of Taylor and Lucca. Experience is just too valuable a commodity to ignore like I did.

We're probably still 2 years away from a 20 win season. Next year I'm hoping for 18-19 wins. That's really optimistic.
If and I mean IF we can somehow sniff the NIT next year I will be pleased.
I thought we'd be lock for the NIT with a reasonable shot (hope) at a bubble NCAA.
After Lucca, Taylor and Wes's prolonged injury - I'm not surprised. Obviously disappointed - but what are you going to do.
The one thing that I like is that even though they don't play well at times - they haven't quit. Both of the last two games they've had significant deficits and fought back. When on such a tough stretch - that's a big sign of character.
I think I predicted 17 wins.

Injuries are part of the game, but we were hit especially hard, and don't have the depth to cope with it.
Offensively we have one threat.. kind of... Wes J. Wes is a good shooter but this year really has no ability to create his shot. Until we can get some people who can create... we will not win.
