Brad Reese
There is talk of him in a couple different threads so I though I would make one to talk only about him. We know he is making a visit to Ames Saturday. Gulf Coast Mens Basketball Brad Reese - Basketball Recruiting
High School Profile : Brad Reese - Basketball Recruiting

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -
Re: Brad Reese
I know my HS coach is pretty tight with some SFCC coaches and they just played him, I'll email him and see what he thinks of him. I do know one thing, he is from the STICKS, probably pretty country...

Re: Brad Reese
Yes, he'd be here next year. And I'm still more worried about a post player than a wing.

Re: Brad Reese
Thats fine we are all Country here I like him I wonder if he can move over to the1 or 2 @ all or is just strictly a 3 IDK. (as some of you may know) I wasn't really for getting a bunch of Juco transfers. I prefer developing freshman. But as the season has progressed I do think some excellent JUCO gaurds could change our team around imensly next year.

Re: Brad Reese
I don't know much about this guy butit could be a good pick up. I'm with Aclone though, I'm more worried about getting a bid to replace Jiri, instead of a lanky wing/forward type.

Re: Brad Reese
Maybe he wants to run a smaller lineup next year but I do think we need another juco Big Man in the middle to help out as well.

Very strong, but not as good of a rebounder as he could be. Good post D for his size, not the greatest perimiter D. Developing a good jumposhot but not all there yet, something like 33% from 3.

Re: Brad Reese
Looking at his JUCO's website, it says he is a freshman. This would mean 3 years at ISU. I would definitely take that.

Re: Brad Reese
good info atown. i know ur always ontop of stuff like this -
Re: Brad Reese
He wouldn't make anyone here happy. He's not a big man/shot blocker or a PG.

Re: Brad Reese
There's a 4 star forward from Indian hills. Does anybody know if mcdermott is recruiting him. I can't remember his name. Does anybody know who I'm talking about? And he's 6"8 or 6"9

Re: Brad Reese
I like the looks of this player. ISU just needs people who can produce. A JC PG and PF would go a long way towards solving problems for ISU BB in '08 -'09.

Re: Brad Reese
Here's an article about the game he played against Dodie's Vicennes team. Dodie's team won with Dodie scoring 12. Reese was the leading scorer in the game with 28 including 5 of 10 from beyond the arc.
He sounds like a guy who could split time with Lucca & Wes J at the 3 spot and provide a scoring spark off the bench. When is the last time that we have had a true scoring threat off the bench? Keep in mind that GMac has been known to go with a 8-10 man rotation when he has legitimate depth available.
I haven't seen him play, but based on what I have read I'm picturing a Brad Pippett type player who played for Johnny Orr. NJCAA - Basketball II
