    Fremont Bergan (Eikmeier) 2nd game is Friday @ 9:00 am (streamed)

    The game will be played at Lincoln East. The game should be streamed, link provided. Not sure which of the stations will carry it. Unfortunately I have a business meeting and will not even be able to listen to the game.

    Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

    ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    I forgot the final score CycloneWanderer but it was something like 74 - 47. It was a complete blow out today. Eik did not play a whole lot in the second half.

    I took the morning off to see this game - the only chance I'll get. I'll leave the technical analysis to NebrClone - a fan's first impressions, based on this one game against small school competition and he does have good team mates - Eikmeier jumps the opening tip - on the first possession he dives to the floor to complete a successful steal - he can't miss from the left corner - "nothing-but-nylon" - he has the sweetest shot, the ball floats - I enjoyed watching his free throws - he has a quick release - he does take the ball to the hoop - does drive the length of the floor - has good D - plays point in a trapping man defense - gets into the passing lanes - fantastic give and go for an alley oop - not a selfish player, has his share of assists - there are times when he is going to shoot, no matter what. He can make an opportunity.

    I was at a business meeting and was not able to make game. I think people get tired of my opinion as over hyping. I am glad when others get to see him and give a good report. Everyone will get to see him Saturday as the video will be streamed.

    i thought that rock valley got beat out in the early rounds of districts by a 12-10 boyden hull team?
