Mac said recently that several players will be visiting for the game against KSU. Who will they be, besides Reese?

Well, whoever they are, let's have Hilton rocking! I know most kids would love to play in an arena as loud as Hilton.

Based on the other post today, I'd think Royce White has free time on his hands and may be looking for something to do. Would a GED count toward eligibility? I'm thinking even that may be an impossible challenge for someone not smart enough to stay in school.

Hopefully someone that has some size and can play in the B12 from day 1. Anyone else would just be a crap shoot.

Hopefully some surprises other than the ones that have already been mentioned as none of them are immediate impact players.

Yeah, I saw several new juco players when I did a database search on Rivals. Maybe it's someone the coaches are trying to keep quiet about? (ala chizik)

I did look up Reese's stats at Gulf Coast CC this year
16.6 ppg, 33.5% 3 pt., 1.4 steals, 77% free throw percentage
So take those for what it's worth

I am pretty sure that's what Jamaal Tinsley did.

Rivals data base lists 4 playes not committed with all having ISU as a medium. All 4 are either Sf or Sg. I would say this looks like Wesley J will be back at Pf next year.

anyone who commits this late in the game, isn't going to make a difference for next yr or ever.

Wes Johnson, Mike Taylor, and Dodie Dunson all committed this late in the game. All three made a difference in their first year at ISU and we really could have used Taylor and Dunson this year. There is always a risk in taking players this late in the game as there is usually a reason they are still available, but sometimes you have to take a risk.
If the coaching staff takes a player or two, I am confident that they feel they will be a solid contributor at some point in their career. I think McDermott is smart enough to know not to take a player that we don't need. I'll trust the staff when it comes to recruiting.
