Buckley in Regional Final tonight

Buckley's Romulus team plays Taylor Truman in the Regional Final tonight. I don't know anything about Truman except they won their first game of the tournament 73 - 63. They might know how to score but it doesn't look like defense is the name of their game.

If I remember correctly all the following is true. Unfortuantely all of the information is archived and only avaiable by subscription so I hope I don't make a mistake but here goes:

Romulus was ranked fifth in the state; fourth in Class A which is the top class. Detroit Country Day (Class B) was ranked ahead of them but you might want to know that Detroit Country Day is a small private school that attracts students from all over the region. Chris Webber went there before he went to Michigan. Joe Dumars' (former Detroit Piston and NBA Hall-of-Famer) son is playing for them now. Getting back to Romulus, they are the second highest ranked team remaining in Class A. The number one ranked team, Saginaw, took out the third ranked team in the first District game. The second ranked team apparently was over-ranked because although they were unbeaten in the regular season, they are gone now. It's unfortunate that there are only two Mr. Basketball candidates remaining in the tournament; Buckley and Green who plays for the top-ranked Saginaw team. The last time I saw anything on Green he had 29 points, was tearing things up and will be going to Michigan State. He will probably win the Mr. Basketball title easily.

He will probably win it but you never know, Dominique could still win it. If he takes his team to the championship and plays very well, he could still pull it out. I hope he plays well tonight and continues it on through his years as a cyclone.

Anyone who doesn't think Buckley is a pure point guard needs to check out some video highlights of him. He might be the truest point guard to come to ISU since....?

I think I made the 10th team Class A All State team. Is this like grade school where everyone gets a ribbon for trying?

That's a great honor. His numbers are very impressive, especially given the high level of competition. Looks like a great pickup.

Where are there videos of him?
