As I alluded to in another thread re:football, but it applies here, because of my recruiting expertise on NCAA March Madness 2005, it looked real good.
The team showed that they've made a lot of progress, and played the right way with a lot of class.
A losing team played a final game with very few empty seats, and the fans were energized.
I would think that today was a pretty good recruiting pitch!
Also, I think the character of guys like Peterson and Haluska, who are willing to be walk-ons again next year, in order to help these guys get scholarships, should really speak volumes to a potential recruit.
