I've been underwhelmed by his X's and O's this season. I think our offense is incredibly boring and easy to defend and our defense has been lacking as well. . . . Oh well, we'll be better next year, I hope.
The statement is easily countered by those who believe that the team is not yet operating up to Greg's standards, and, based on the savvy play of some of his past teams, is bound to vastly improve in the future.

We have not seen the best of Greg yet as far as results go, far from it. If future McDermott teams do not show stairstep progress upward, then I'll worry. I know there are many others here with similar outlooks.
