Big 12 Awards

Congratulations to Jiri, Rahshon, and Wes! Jiri made third team All Big 12. Rahshon made the All Big 12 Defensive team. And Wes made honorable mention.

Congrats to all three! Did Craig make the all freshman team?

Jiri made 3rd team, Wesley was honorable mention. Brackins was not named in Rookie Team...

Re: Big 12 Awards

Had Brackins not go into that slump, he would have easily made the all-Freshman team. If he keeps his current pace up for next season, he's going to be a monster!

Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.

The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success.

This is Cyclone Football.

Should put a chip on Craig's shoulder for next year. At least I hope.

It is easy to see that the best players don't stick around all 4 years as there is no Seniors on the First team.

Not so sure...there were two other freshman not named Beasley or Walker that put up more pts. than Craig.

What is the media's obsession with Deandre Jordan? He averaged 8 points a game and was on the rookie first team. Switch him w/ Brackins and I agree w/ the lists

LaceDarius Dunn dropped 38 in our win over tech. 10-16, 6-9 from 3

both Dunn and Brackins should have gotten in over Jordan.

Did Rashon make all-defensive before? I thought he might have gotten it once.

No. This is Rahshon's first year making it. He was was named most-underrated a few years ago.

Rahshon deserved it big time his Defense is stellar. Im glad to see Jiri get rewarded he works hard and is often undersized. Glad to see Wes get something even with being hurt.
