What is the highest seeded team to win the B12 or B8 tournament? I don't know the answer but I'm going to try to look.
As an aside, I am NOT insinuating that we have any chance this weekend as we clearly don't. I'm just curious.

'But I love the idea of the Sacrificial Lamb. . . There are consequences to actions. The point of the death of Christ is that Christ took on the sins of the world, so that what we put out did not come back to us, and that our sinful nature does not reap the obvious death. That's the point. It should keep us humbled. . . It's not our own good works that get us through the gates of heaven.'

Correct. It appears in the B12, the 1 seed has won it 5 times, the 3 seed, 4 times and the 2 seed twice.
Anyone remember a high seed to win the Big 8?
Interesting tidbit: Texas A&M is 1-11 in the tournament.

1-11? Really? I know A&M wasn't good for a number of years, but wow. That's terrible.

Maybe our basketball team will see the movie Rockie to inspire them.

Interesting tidbit: Texas A&M is 1-11 in the tournament. Didn't Missouri win one year as the 7 seed? Maybe in the '80's. I just remember the Big 8 deserved to send 7, but only 6 were invited.
