Thanks. Hopefully the sprint center will be the home of it for a long time. I also noticed next year they are doing the tournament Wednesday-Saturday. Thats kind of interesting.
There's talk of making Dallas' new stadium the permanent home of the football championship and KC the permanent home of the basketball tournament. No idea how serious it is but I believe KC will be making a push for it this weekend.
Oklahoma City is great because the Women play right across the street. Plenty of parking close. It downtown with plenty of places to eat. Very nice city. Bricktown is beautiful. The best is everything is within walking distance of the Arena and the arenas for the women and men are both nice. Oklahoma City is also much easier to get around in....but I like the 3 hour drive compared to the 8 hour drive much better.
The men's venue and women's venue are across the street from each other, making it easy to catch back to back games at either or both venues. The Bricktown area provides great restaurants and a beautiful riverwalk.

Really? I hope they keep it that way. I think it is the stupidest thing to be playing up till the selection show. Just get the games done so the committee can do a better job.

Wholeheartedly agree. I was down in OK City with the Pep Band for last year's tournament, and it was fantastic. Easy to get to, easy to find, plenty of parking. I think the teams stayed real close to the venues, too. Really convenient all around.
