As some of you may know, there is a new development across from the Sprint Center called the KC Power and Light District. It's cool and worth checking out (though word has it it will be overrun and packed). I just want to encourage everyone to keep Kellys Cyclone Central. Kellys has been very good to ISU over the years (maybe too good too Eustachy...not a cheap shot...those that saw him there know what I mean). Kellys is also very generous to the Kansas City Cyclone Club Chapter. The KC Power and Light District is going to hit Westport the hardest. Let's show our appreciation and keep the tradition alive. Besides, it will probably be faster to take the bus from Westport than trying to park downtown.

Cyclone Fanatic outing?

I know it was been talked a lot about in other threads but just a quick question so I can see how many CF people will be at kellys bar...It would be nice to put a face with a "Log in name"

I was at kellys last night. A good amount of Cyclone fans in the house including Mr Pollard. We had a good time visiting with him. I purchased the new Cylone cups and filled it to many times with my favorite beverage. We plan on going back tonight!

I think it is awesome that ISU basically has it's own bar in KC. I bet fans from other schools walk in there during this time and wonder what is going on. I have only been there once and it was in the summer but just walking in there felt like walking into Hilton for the first time, well maybe not that great.

It would be but no one else can really get in there as it's always full with a line out the door of cyclone fans waiting to get in.

As much as I love Kelly's, they are going to have a hell of a time competing with the Power and Light District. I was their for the womans game yesterday, and it is awesome. There are a bunch of places to go and its so close to all of the action. Also, Kelly's is a horrible place to watch a game because their tv setup is a joke.

I will be at Kellys Friday but will be getting the hell out of there before the clock turns 1am. It is getting real sketchy in westport late at night.
