We all realize that MBB is in a rebuilding process. But one of the frustrating aspects is that we have not even gotten an upset victory here or there to cheer about.
0-8 on the road in conference. We ended with three second division teams (MU, CU, TT) and couldn't pull out a road victory as a sign the team was improving.
No upsets of ranked teams at home. Not even a win over a first division team.
Once some players started looking better (DG and Brackins) at the end of the year, Wes starts to struggle and Rashon's injuries and bad luck still keep us from looking like a complete team.
Just throw us one bone. Beat A&M in KC and give us one day to smile! Just one.
Is it bad that I want us to defeat A&M simply for the fact that I want a chance to beat KSU and ruin their day?
Eh, I don't really hate KSU...Kansas on the other hand
“I’m just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard,” Eustachy joked. “If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, he’ll be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.”

Is it bad? No
Beating A&M and ruining KSU's day would make me wet my pants w/ excitement. That would give us so much momentum heading into next season. Plus if you get a couple wins in this tournament, who knows what will happen. With that said A&M will win by 15
Just remember that every team in the nation ends there season with a loss except 2 (3 this year).
I thought that too, during our NIT final four run and there was all sorts of debate about which is better- winning the NIT or making the Big Dance and losing the first round. However, and this may be a new thing, not all conferences have conference tournaments, such as the Big East. So it is possible for a team to not have a good enough record to make the Big East tourney but still win their last game.
