Two years ago KSU was 23-11 and didn't make it. Alford's team won something like 26 games this year and didn't make it. Arizona won 18 games and did, Oregon won 18 games and did... I hope we follow that mold. I'd rather watch games that matter than spend all of Nov. and Dec. waiting for real games to start. Originally Posted by gocubs2118 Awesome find! Thanks!

So our schedule so far looks like this.
Home:
Drake
Cyclone Classic or whatever the tournament is called
Oregon State
Away:
Iowa
UNI
Probably Minnesota
Am I missing anything?

Is the home game with Bradley really a home game or is it at Wells Fargo Arena again?

It's in Hilton, and Bradley is already on there as BU, we know it's on Nov. 22nd as well.

Looks like we will be hosting the World Vision Basketball Classic next year. We will play UC-Davis, Loyola Marymount and Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I like playing Wisconsin-Milwaukee, gives us a decent mid major team. World Vision Basketball Classic-Men's Div I |

I'm guessing it is taking the place of the Cyclone classic. The name probably changed to so they could sell the naming rights.

Cyclone Fanatics, I am disappointed. Forty-one posts into this MBB thread and not a single mention of LE. Perhaps we need a refresher course on how to divert a topic into a argument over the merits of LE and his coaching ability.

Look at Iowa's non-conference schedule:
Idaho State
Florida Gulf Coast
Northern Colorado
Maryland Eastern Shore
Utah State
Louisiana-Monroe
Eastern Illinois
Southeastern Louisiana
That's 8 directional schools (or equivalent) to maximize the number of wins and create a lot of false hope in the non-conference schedule.
We need to add a few easy wins to our schedule. I believe that is last years schedule. Because I think they lost to Louisiana-Monroe in their Hawkeye challenge.
And no we don't need a schedule like that because it will kill your SOS and as a bubble team you wouldn't stand a chance as an at-large with a schedule like that.
