Re: 2008-2009 Schedule so far
Is the Big 12/Pac 10 challenge being continued? That would be another major non-conference opponent.
I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd like to see more and more planets fall under the ruthless domination of our solar system. -
Re: 2008-2009 Schedule so far
OSU=Oregon State University...we play them at home next year! Since the Big East has been doing very well the last few years, it would be nice to see someone out of that conference that is close; Marquette, DePaul, or Notre Dame.

Re: 2008-2009 Schedule so far
I would love to see us play a home-and-home against another regional Big Ten opponent, like Illinois or Wisconsin. I wish we could the Ohio State series back and play them in Hilton -- what a crock that we had to play them over winter break at an off-site location (WFA) for our "home" game and had to play them at their house with a full student section for the "away" game.
In the past few years, we've had some decent non-con match-ups. The Virginia series, for example. I like the Pac-10 Hardwood series, as that guarantees us a match-up with another BCS school (if Oregon State qualifies as such). It'd be nice to see that series continue so we can hopefully draw a match-up with USC, Arizona, Stanford, or UCLA in the future.
Be nice to play against some more SEC teams, as well. Arkansas is close, as is Kentucky.

Sorry, I had two OSU's listed. The first one was intended to be Oregon State.

Thanks for getting this started! I've stuck it to the top so we won't lose track of it.

Re: 2008-2009 Schedule so far
Maybe we could get a couple games with Oregon St. scheduled next year. I wouldn't mind playing them 4-5 times.
Step 1: Cut a hole in the box. -
Re: 2008-2009 Schedule so far
Anybody know if we're continuing the series with Minnesota? That's a good game for us with all the alums in the Twin Cities area, plus it's a major conference opponent.

Re: 2008-2009 Schedule so far
I'd love to play someone from the Big East. We don't play the "good" east coast teams very often.
I loved the BC home and home. Same with Virginia a few years back.

Re: 2008-2009 Schedule so far
I don't want to play Bradley anymore. They own us. If we are going to play another upper division Valley Team let's play Creighton. We may lose to them too but at least we could get some recruiting exposure in Omaha. We used to play Creighton every year.

Re: 2008-2009 Schedule so far
I really don't understand why we schedule the Bradley game during Thanksgiving break. That doesn't give us the home court advantage that we would normally have.

I think we may need some creampuffs for our inexperienced team next year. Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I don't understand why we'd do Vegas again. Was something said somewhere?
