New Basketball Uniforms

I don't know if they have been released yet but does anyone know what our basketball uniforms will look like next year with the logo and color changes?

I wouldn't imagine getting new basketball unis is nearly as difficult as football unis

I am really suprised that our new logo is not being pushed more. Our own website still uses all the old stuff still. Just as long as we loose the bright red and Yellow and transition more to our real colors would be good. Other than that I just want to finally win some games.

I thought they said that they wouldn't officially make the change until the 2007/2008 school year was over (i.e Basketball, Wrestling, Softball seasons complete).
Also, i would imagine the bball unis will be very similar with just a couple minor changes.

I'm pretty sure the intent was to only use the new logo on a limited basis until next school year, when it will be fully implimented.

Based upon going back to our more traditional school colors with our logo and football unis, I would expect our b-ball unis would go to the traditional "cardinal" color too.

I can't wait for the new look to be here. And then I need to "accessorize" with new shows and handbags. I wonder if I can borrow BrianHos' car and credit card for a weekend?

The basketball team will be getting new uniforms next year. They will be the Nike Elite taylored look (See Texas, UConn, etc for style) with the new colors and logo.

Is this identity going to be applied to all sports?
Yes, the mark and the colors will be applied to all facets of the athletics department. It will require a gradual implementation, but the mark will become our primary identity for athletics in 2008.

Goldmember (or anyone), do you know this for certain? I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping you're right because I hate our current uni's (mostly because they are the most generic off-the-rack Nike design imaginable with half the high school and mid-major teams in the country with the EXACT same design).

I know Pollard had mentioned that we are "elite" in football but are you sure that means basketball too? Please be right!

The way I understand Nike's Elite School program...it applies to all sports. I can all but guarantee this...now the final uniform design selection is up to the coaches, of which I'm partial to the UConn design.
