If Mann comes in like Homan did (ready to fight somebody), I'm absolutely pumped!!! Homan wasn't spectacular his frosh year, but he didn't back down to nobody, and you could tell that he was going to be special for us in the upcoming years.

Maybe he was a tweener and a transition player. He did lose a lot of weight the second year to be faster. It is still strange. Looks like recruiting could be a struggle for McD with his offense when you think about recruiting results the previous 8 years. Easier to recruit people to up tempo Western Kentucky probably.

I agree, in all honesty I think Buckley redshirts unless he does something spectacular. With Diante comming on strong at the end of this year he'll be ready to contribute alot more next season. We will get Lucca back as well. I think Diante and Lucca will be our main guards and you throw in Peterson and Huluska in the mix as well. I think it would be beneficial for him to sit, we didn't have that luxury with Diante we needed him right away.

From what I've read Buckley is a true point guard who slashes and dishes the ball off well. We don't have anybody who plays like that now. True Diante shows flashes of it, but I think he'll do better as an off guard. With that in mind, I'll be surprised if he redshirts.

If Buckley is as good as advertised he would transfer immediately if the coach even mentioned the word 'redshirt'.

Diante doesn't shoot well enough yet to be worth much on the court at anything besides the point.

Buckley is going to be a freshman. He's going to have a lot of the problems all freshman have. I'll be somewhat disappointed if he beats out Garrett, because that means Garrett didn't improve much between his freshman and sophomore year.
