is your 'I want to be a coach when I grow up' paying off?

This is quite the information for a 14 yo.... kudos if both are true.

You would be surprised the stuff that you can find out in study hall.

Are we suppose to believe you? Do you have a credible source? I kind of hope you're wrong and if not, I kind of hope Pomlee proves me wrong.

Scout.com: L.A. Pomlee Profile

L.A. Pomlee - Basketball Recruiting

MyP-C | Forums | Hawk Forum | Men's Basketball | Nice article on L.A. Pomlee of Davenport Central

Orlando Day Two - Playoffs Underway :: Top 15 2008 prospect JaMychal Green scores 28 and updates recruiting list

Etc. Etc.

I've long been a proponent of getting Pomlee on board because we need a guy who can rebound. Hopefully he'll be the next Eric Coleman. If not, well it's not like we don't have the room.

Did Pomlee choose us or did we choose him out of necessity? I don't know the answer either...just posing the question.

I doubt this to be the case as would anyone who has seen him play.

If he is, I obviously wish him best, though.

Re: LA Pomlee to be a Cyclone

From what I have been told by a couple different AAU coaches is his AAU game is MUCH different than his HS game. He gets lost on his HS team as the guards look him off and want to take all the shots themselves. He has been near dominant in AAU games and can really be a defensive and rebounding force... Seems to be a need of ours...

3 star PF. Recruited by West Virginia and Wisconsin. Visited Kentucky and Illinois.

We seem to be in pretty good company.

Hope he isn't an APR risk if this is true.

Also hope he can be a defensive stopper as many claim he has potential to be.

I've heard the same thing, that he defers to the guards at Central, but in AAU is an absolute monster.
