Heard this rumored yesterday. I guess Williams hired Butler's coach at Tyler CC which turned into them getting Butler

This further reinforces why Gmac simply cannot afford to lose players. The staff simply doesn't seem to have the ability to land quality replacements.

Couldn't agree more. I love our coaches, but have you ever seen a staff struggle so much to land a recruit? You would be crazy not to be a bit concerned over this

Are you sure the hiring of the Tyler coach at Marquette didn't lead to Marquette landing Joe Fulce (a Tyler product) and not Jimmy Butler???

We also desperately need to upgrade the MBB facilities. Right now our facilities are a joke compared to most BCS level programs. It has to be hard to tell a kid to come to ISU when we are trying to show off State Gym as a practice facility.

I don't know if it is possible, but Gmac simply must have success THIS COMING season. If not, I think it is going to put us in a viscous cycle that we are not going to get out of. I don't think Gmac and crew can sell bigger recruits without wins to back up what they are saying.

I honestly love how we possibly might miss out on a recruit and we become a school that can't recruit and a football school....every school misses out on recruits....you will always lose more of these recruiting battles (no matter what school you are) than you win.

I don't understand why we don't go get a great recruiter. We lose more kids than I can ever remember. This make Pomlee a huge get if we get him. Before Pomlee was an after thought. Anyone have Paul Guede phone number? Anyone.

Brackins, Garrett, Buckley were all big wins...Eikmeier, Hamilton, and Mann were also wins if you didn't remember.....
