According to a headline on Hoopmasters, CJ is visiting drake. http://www.hoopmasters.com/program.php?pid=119
He has more of a MVC body than a B12 body. He might do well there.

'But I love the idea of the Sacrificial Lamb. . . There are consequences to actions. The point of the death of Christ is that Christ took on the sins of the world, so that what we put out did not come back to us, and that our sinful nature does not reap the obvious death. That's the point. It should keep us humbled. . . It's not our own good works that get us through the gates of heaven.'

Thank you Wes Johnson for the great 2 years you gave Iowa State. Wish you could've stayed. Best of luck to you, wherever you end up.
"The one thing I really want to say is to tell the fans thank you for everything," Johnson said. "You rooted for me, you were behind me with my injury, and I really appreciated that."

I think Cory would benefit from playing in a more wide open system. I think he could be better both offensively and defensively then.

Great for him. If he ends up there, I'll enjoy seeing him continue to play.

I understand all your loyalties, but for me I'd rather he play somewhere that ISU doesn't have to compete against him. It would be awful embarassing if he dominated a game against us.

1) I seriously doubt this would ever happen. The bottom line is that if he were good enough to be a "dominant" player then he would have been playing more at ISU.
2) If it did, it would be a serious indictment of the talent level on our team at that time.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

This is exactly what I am talking about. He was less than a role player for us. Now, if he goes into a different system and has success, especially against us, how bad does that make us look?
Don't get me wrong, I am not suggesting this will happen, but it sure would suck if it did. Ultimately, I would just rather he go play somewhere that I am not familiar with.

If it makes us look bad it's becauwe we are bad and will make ourselves look bad against better players than Cory. Basically, if we are bad there will be no hiding it.

Cory is not good enough to play at ISU, but he is good enough to play for a team that beat us by 35 points.

Any updates on Cory? Only thing I could find is that UWGB wants him but thinks he is a long shot...
