Christopherson and DG are in the same class. However, Christopherson beat DG for the Mr Basketball. Does this mean something |

Better shooter. Not as quick. Plays a lot tuffer and stronger than DG. Can't get to the hole as good as DG. So it's probably a wash. Both have different games. | |

really you cant compare the two to much because they both play different styles.. and what i mean by that is DG is a driver and a kicker.. SC is the shooter.. on the defensive side.. i would have to say right now DG is prob better, but really it doesnt matter who is better.. all that matters is if they can do what the coach tells them to do and ifthey excel at what each is good at then we will be fine

Based on their stats, Garrett had a much better freshman year.
Garrett 22.2 min/gm, 6.3 ppg, 1.8 reb, 2.8 assists
Christopherson 4.8 min/gm, 1.3 ppg, .7 reb, .7 assists | |

actually.. when u think about it.. they are not that much better.. if u increase SC minutes to DG.. they are about even

What helped Christopherson in winning Mr. Basketball over DG is that he stayed in state to go to college. DG bolted to ISU and they doesn't help. When two players are close, they will always go with the guys who is staying in state.
Really there is no way for us to know right now which one is better. It will be a while before we know. They will both be playing the same positions as coach said Christopherson can play the one, two, or 3. Really the same can be said of Garrett. Another thing to think about that doesn't mean much but DG was a top 150 player coming out of high school while Christopherson wasn't. | |

and seeings that marquette was pry a little better than iowa state last year, dg's role could have been awfully similar to christopherson in regards to minutes played. | |
