Kyle Kelm

Does anyone know anything about Kyle Kelm from Wisconsin? I know that he is only a sophomore and I read that we have offered him a scholarship. I know he is 6'9' and can play. I don't know how to do it, but I wanted to add a You Tube link of him dunking. I know he comes from a high school in Wisconsin that has produced some good D 1 U of W players. Does anyone have any info. Thanks.

Re: Kyle Kelm

He seems like a pretty good player, one of many in Wisconsin's loaded '10 class.
Evan Anderson, Vander Blue, Flavien Davis, Marquis Mason, Kameron Cerroni, and T.J. Kadima are all High d1 prospects.

Yeah, we were recruiting him, but he recently committed to Wisconsin. The good news is, Wisconsin only has one more '10 scholarship,(probably going to Evan Anderson) and no '09 schollies, meaning that we will have a good shot at several top players. However, Harrison Barnes is the only '10 player with an offer besides Anderson and Blue, and they are probably going to go after him really hard if they don't get Anderson.

Re: Kyle Kelm

Kyle really likes ISU, and they're in his top 3 schools.

Re: Kyle Kelm

Evan Anderson just committed to Wisky. That helps us with Kelm. And Barnes, fas mentioned.

I think Barnes is ours if we begin to improve.

Re: Kyle Kelm

I think it's mandated that Vander Blue go somewhere that the school colors are red and white.

Maybe someday he'll play in the NBA with Michael Redd and D.J. White.

Kelm is from Randolph, Wis. which is a small town about 45 minutes north of Madison in central Wis. They produced Greg Stiemsma who played at UW (graduated this year) and several other small college players (UW-Green Bay and something like UM-Duluth). Stiemsma came off the bench and were it not for other solid players ahead of him he could have put up great numbers for Bo Ryan.
Randolph plays in a weak conference comparable to Class 1A in Iowa, but they have won something like four of the last five state titles. They have a great head coach and always seem to have a young guy or two who compliments there team.
UW-Milwaukee was in on this kid really early. I do know that.

Not only that, but my mom spent her summers there with her grandpa.
