Credits: 955,896 NFL: Chiefs NBA: Pacers MLB: Cardinals | Harrison Barnes "top 10" '10 prospect Per this from NY2LA sports. Super stud 6'7" So. SF Harrison Barnes of Ames, Iowa looks to continue his explosion up the ranks nationally as he and his All Iowa Attack teammates take the court this weekend as the King James Shooting Stars Classic in Akron, Ohio. Harrison is a do it all slashing forward with big time upside both on and off the court and he'll be looking to build upon his monster performances at the Swish & Dish and Real Deal on the Hill tournaments earlier this month. Texas, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Iowa State, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan and a host of others are starting to pick up the trail of the guy we think is a definite top 10 national prospect in the Class of 2010. Anymore, I'm about like this whenever I hear anyting about Harrison. Considering his improvement, he may eventually be a top 5 prospect. All I can say is Wow! |

That makes me feel a lot better. Doug is a pretty good player too, a 6'5" wing. Harrison, if you're reading this, please come to ISU. |

He'll likely decide/sign after next season and before the 2009 season. If we look like a rising program next year the odds might be more in our favor. If we look like we're still 2-3 years away from competing, we might have a tough time landing this kid. |

A. Come to a mediocre program in a big conference, with the likelihood of being "the man" and the possibility of being "the savior" of the program.
B. Go to a powerhouse where you would not be "the man" but would likely play in a Final Four.
There's pros and cons to both.
